‘mingleZ’ is a video collaboration platform provided by Hadenbridge Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") for a fee, which enables various video collaboration services through PC and mobile apps. This service includes features of the app, help for usage, FAQ, and blog content related to the service.
In the process of operating this service, the safe handling of your personal information is one of our most important tasks. Your personal information will be used only within the scope and purpose agreed upon by you and will not be provided to third parties except as required by law or with your separate consent. mingleZ has prepared a single privacy policy that can be applied to the service so that you can easily understand more about how we handle your personal information. The privacy policy is always available for you to read, even if you're not interested right now. We will notify you through announcements whenever there are changes to the privacy policy, making it easy for you to know the content and reasons.
Your valuable personal information will be used by mingleZ to provide you with better services. mingleZ collects necessary personal information from you to provide smooth service and improve user experience. For example, to provide basic and specialized functions of the service according to the terms of use you agreed upon, we may need to confirm your identity, age, account, contact information, and device used. Your personal information may also be used for purposes such as searching for or registering other users listed in your contacts, or sending notifications to you or your friends who may also be users of the service. Additionally, it may be needed for individual notices, inquiries, or disputes related to service usage, or for transmission, delivery, or billing of content, etc., when using paid services. Furthermore, your personal information may be used for new service development, customization, service improvement, demographic analysis for service provision, providing various events or promotional information, complying with legal obligations, and preventing misuse of the service that could harm you, as well as other purposes.
mingleZ collects the following personal information for providing better services:
- When you first sign up or use the service, mingleZ collects your name (nickname), phone number, and optionally, profile picture (excluding metadata) through the website (.cloud) or the application (mingleZ app).
- Additionally, during the service usage process or business processing, information such as service ID, IP address, cookies, visit date and time, misuse records, and service usage records may be automatically generated and collected.
- Your contact information within your device is not collected, and only the retrieval is performed for the purpose of creating a friend list.
Furthermore, when using paid services, payment-related information such as credit card information, telecom information, or gift card numbers may be collected as necessary for payment. mingleZ will obtain your consent for collecting personal information and provide the service accordingly.
Except with your separate consent or as required by law, mingleZ will not provide your personal information to third parties.
Except in cases where you separately agree or as required by law, mingleZ will not use or provide your personal information beyond the scope of the purposes mentioned above.
Your personal information will be promptly destroyed once the purpose of collecting and using the information, for which your consent has been obtained, is achieved, except as required by law or internal policy. When your consented personal information becomes unnecessary, it will be transferred to a separate DB (or stored in paper format, in which case, a separate file) and stored for a certain period of time as required by relevant laws, after which it will be promptly destroyed. Personal information printed on paper will be shredded or incinerated, and electronic files will be deleted using techniques that cannot reproduce records. However, misuse records of the service will be retained for one year in accordance with internal policies to prevent disputes related to account withdrawal notifications, customer service inquiries, or improper service usage, and then destroyed by the above methods. If there are any changes to the privacy policy, we will notify you separately.
mingleZ may modify the privacy policy for legal reasons or to reflect changes in the service. If the privacy policy is updated, mingleZ will publish the changes, and the revised privacy policy will take effect 7 days after the publication date. However, if there are significant changes affecting your rights, we will inform you of the changes 30 days in advance.
